Dirty Mongrels
Division 5:12, Dream League
Manager: Thenewvoice8
Bad run dampens mood
The Mongrels have lost their way a little following the half way point in the league with the manager at a loss to explain their indifferent form and results.

Rio are a good team, but we should have been beating them at home.  We outplayed them from the get go, but from early on we could feel something in the air and we knew it wasn't gonna be our day.

We played exceptional again against Lofkulla, and were still lucky to get the win!

Now we also have a 3 way fight for the top places with 2 of our oldest and fiercest rivals - the Girlymen and the Hooligans.

The Girlymen have been quietly racking up the points after a bumpy start and are now in a good position as their form continues to improve whilst the Hooligans appear to be going through the same rough patch as ourselves.

It is going to be a massive game next week, we've never taken points at the Girlymen ground as far as I know and, with their squad looking stronger than ours, it will take one massive effort to get anything.

This has been the closest race for the title that the Mongrels have been involved in or even seen in many seasons, and despite the recent run of results the Mongrels manager has stated that he is delighted as survival was the plan, but they didn't dream of competing against such teams.

On the Mongrels!
