The Fifth Column
Division 4o, Power League
Manager: Woodstock11
Champs!
The Fifth Column have won another division title as they were crowned champions after last Thursday's 0-1 win over the Jamaican Lions!

"Partytime! We had an amazing season racking up 35 points in total, only losing one game and finishing the season with a cool 21-6 goal difference. Main take away obviously is the fact we did all this with a 22-year-old team on average. We are really proud of this achievement and kudos to the players who performed so consistently!"

Now it is off to a well deserved vacation to the cozy island of Alcatraz for the team. Some friendlies are being played to prepare for yet another comeback to division 3 of the Power League.

Also, another Change Report came in and whilst not spectacular, seeing that no less than 5 players did not get a visible blue bar added, two players did manage a double jump. The really important thing is that 17.6 bars were gained over 18 players.

"Visible bars are cool and nice but obviously it is not all that important at the moment. These players, all besides one, were the oldest players and they should be high up in their skill bands anyhow. Also, we did not plan to sell any of them for once so whatever."

The Fifth Column did finish 6th in division 3 three seasons ago and hopes are up with a bit of a stronger team this can be upped by one place at least.

There is not much econ in the bank but enough for the most vital supply of season trainings. Any outgoing transfers will be dependent on the way the Cup tournament will pan out and there are in fact two bids on young talents.

"Moving up means we should be able to go back at our goal of having a 19-20 player squad. A bit more than many teams but having a conveyor structure and longevity has always been our philosophy and well we will try and make it work."
