Crocodiles vs Dragons
First game, first victory!
A ravenous Crocodiles team dismantled Enter the Dragons in the club's first ever fixture. The Grape Master looked on with joy as a team filled with hungry, young Welsh talent ripped apart their opponents.
Particular praise has to go towards Tim Clark, who notched a super hattrick before half time, and Kenny Williams, who seemed to dictate the entire game.
While the team have got off to a flying start, manager Lenny is reminding his team to keep their feet firmly on the ground: "it is a good start for us: a nice opening to pre-season so we can hopefully get ourselves into a good state ready for our first adventure in the Dream League; but pre-season and a place to build from is all it was. We can't go getting ahead of ourselves now: there is still a lot of work to do."
This match was the first to be played at the rebuilt Grape Colosseum, although there is a promise of more friendlies on the near horizon, with the added bonus that the transfer window is about to open.
The crocodiles can enjoy their first victory for now, but will also hungrily be hoping for a bright future.
