| The G.O.A.T Escape? |
Following the takeover of Kids Picture Show (formerly known as IFK Råcksta), the team has managed to escape relegation by winning their last four matches. A 1-3 defeat in the hands of Malaga CF on 20th Decemeber, 2023 saw the departure of the previous manager VonC. The club announced on 26th December, a day before an important match against Ghost Rider 19, that VonC's contract had been terminated with an immediate effect and the club was actively looking for a new manager.
Meanwhile Sayan44 lead his former team Cocomelon to a whooping 5-0 victory on 20th December, 2023 securing the top spot of Division 6 of Super League. The manager was offerred the role of managing IFK Råcksta on 28th December following the Cocomelon's 6-0 victory over Kolayspor. Sayan44 always wanted to be back on upper divisions and he knew that with Cocomelon it would require a long period to reach there. Hence Sayan44 decided to jump ship to IFK Råcksta despite the fact that relegation was looming for the team.
The team didn't have a fantastic squad, neither they had bucket load of cash to spend on training and with four matches left, the team wasn't looking for any addition to the squad. Despite all these difficulties and 3 other applicants applying for the same job, Sayan44 decided to take the job. His first job was to get the team back on form to get some positive results. The team, following rigorous training schedule of 5 days during the new year's eve, faced IFK Mölndal. The 3-0 home win boosted the confidence of the team and work done on training showed wonders.
Crucial 0-1 and 0-2 away wins, over Real Halmia and FC Steven Seagal gave the team some hope of surviving. Jumping from 7th position in the table to 6th. They needed a win on final day against Tortuna Sportklubb. Sayan44 decided to give Hallquist an eighteen year old in this match, despite it being a do or die situation. Goals from 30 year old veteran forward Holban and the substitute Nyqvist saw the team surviving relegation. The team thanked the fans and support staff following their victory on the final game. Sayan44 after the match said,
"It was an collaborative effort. The team worked very hard to reach there after my takeover. Before I arrived here, the team had everything except motivation. Following their win over IFK Mölndal the fans decided to come back to the stadium. I am glad that we could give them hope and they showed a lot of faith and all these collaboratively has resulted in today's triumph. I dedicate this win to my 6 year's old son's favourite Youtube Channel Kidspictureshow and hence we decided to rename the team. We will be back stronger next season with promotion our only motto. See you soon."
