Semi final in The Xpert Ladies Cup
"Oh, my word", proclaimed AotN manager LGF. "The Angels are in the cup final."
An exciting cup quarter-final win in the previous round was followed by a crucial league loss to White Swans, and then today, a very unexpected win in this evening's semi-final has handed LGF a huge dilemma.
LGF explains, "I can't see this ending well.
"After our very disappointing loss against The Swans in a match where we did most things right except out-concede them, we now face a very strong Bombastic Girls in the cup final as well as also facing them in our next league match, for which we have two very important players missing.
"A loss in this upcoming league match will, no doubt, send our form plummeting ahead of the cup final.
"But, just like in today's match, we will push the limits of what we have available and give both avenues our best shot. I know it's all very exciting for the fans.... I just don't see it ending well."
