With the late goal by their opponents Sniper's Edge found themselves frustrated once again by their performance in their quest for advancement. Facing one of the top squads on the table the Edge came into this home match with the goal of 3 points knowing this was a key opportunity. However, the fates were not kind as while the Edge found themselves up early thanks to an own goal by their opponents, the visiting Warriors 11 squad kept equalizing, culminating in a late 88th minute equalizer sending both squads home with only a single point each.
"Well, they are a top squad for a reason," the manager said afterwards. "We were able to surprise them in our previous matchup, but sadly we could not make lightning strike twice. It was a match we needed to win, and sadly we only were able to get a single point out of it. But, it is what it is. We need to brush ourselves back off and get back out there for the next match."
