Many legends have passed through the club. Even now, there are exactly 14 legends in the team. But one of these legends has a very special place. This name is Edvard Gadeberg.
Edvard played in exactly 409 matches. He was on the field as team captain in the last 130 matches. Despite being a defensive player, he contributed 20 goals and 41 assists. He was selected as MVP 3 times. He became the assist king once. He only received 15 yellow cards. He did not receive a red card throughout his career. He was selected for the eleven of the week 98 times. He was selected as captain 38 times. His most important feature that no one knows is that he was a very hard-working player. He is the only legend who reached the highest skill level (18) in the club's history.
Apart from these statistical information and personal skills, he was an example for young players. He made a great contribution to their development. He did not retire early. He fought until the end (at the age of 38). During his captaincy, the club rose to the top league again.
I am sharing the reason why he is a real legend. Among the active players (Final league - 1016 clubs), he is the only player who played in the Champions League final (Season 63).
