We float again!
Pennywise Floats secured safety after a stunning last day 4-0 win, with midfield star Castorani producing three assists and scoring himself in a spectacular display.
It had been a poor season with relegation on the cards, but with 4 wins and one draw in the last 5 games, the team finally came into form to stay afloat. Just.
The team is young and lively in midfield with a few decent aged defenders in the mix that all took a while to settle but showed great form just as we needed it. Elms up top continued to bag goals while his new striker partner showed plenty of potential.
Relief to stay up, now need to bring in the odd new younger player and help the veterans along to their football retirement home, that just so happens to be an island run by the insane Matt Le Tissier. He believes the weather there is a government conspiracy, just like physical matter and lizard people. He pays good money to recruit retired footballers and a lot of his mad rambling bitter **** makes sense to them once they are dozed up on Le Tiss pills.
I will personally rescue them should it all get too much...or better still, keep an eye on the transfer market and grab yourself a bargain.
