First points dropped.
Sixteen games played so far this season took their toll on Brummagem earlier today, dropping their first league points of the season in a 1-1 draw against Project Embargo Academy. The result will have surprised many and given hope to others that Duncan Donuts' side might be capable of a slip up despite their superior form so far.
The game started badly for Brummagem when they lost Gert Kronegård who was replaced Natal Aganzo, which was not ideal given he is not fully fit. Despite this Aganzo looked to have put Brummagem ahead just minutes later only for Manuel Ficu to rule the goal offside, much to the consternation of Donuts and everyone else in the stadium.
Project Embargo then took the lead with a wonderful Mihajlo Colakovic strike against the run of play. Brummagem replied almost instantly when Zofran Purwanto headed home his seventh goal of the season from Aganzo's corner.
It was Brummagem's poorest performance of the season and they were unable to find the winner, or even create the chances to do so. Donuts needs to get his side back in winning form, starting with the trip to Forkwood next week.
