Extraordinarily performances
Vårberg Maple Leafs has come out with a chocking start in the debut season of the Xtreme League's top division. With the top rated forward and defender on the injury list for several matches against the top teams of the league Vårberg have managed to win 4 out of 5 matches plus all cup matches. Tge loss... well,. you know... against epic Tour de France.
Latest win was a convincing 2-0 away to tge strong Ribbträff BK. adamant admits the tactic was a lucky shot. But he had to give it a try to have achance of three points and chasing the team with the pink leader shirt.
After 5 matches, Vårberg have only had one game at home. "Yes", admits adamant at the press conference after the last game, "It will of course be fantastic to play for our home crowd in so many of our coming matches. But that doesn't mean much, really. Away we are underdogs and have been lucky with some bold tactical guesses. But home games are in one way tougher to play tactical tricks. We need our top players back immediately. It looks like Oliver Scholtze is back next game in the series at least. That is very well needed, we really, really need his set piece skills."
