Still In The Cup
After the draw for the first round of the league cup was announced for season 67 LMP and co never thought the club would progress and simply accepted it as a fact. However after the first home leg Classy Clique are still very much in it following their 0-0 home draw to St. Ives FC, the match itself would hardly be top billing for any tv show with the hosts enjoying the only chance all match and sadly they could not make good use of. LMP will know in the reverse fixture they might just go up a gear or three, at the club's most recent press conference LMP had this to say...
"Prior to kick off our focus was development for our youth and as a sub plot we wanted to make ourselves hard to beat. Never did i think it possible we would hold them for the entire match, not only that but they never even had a sniff on goal. The team is buzzing after such a positive start to the new season, hopefully this will be the start of many shocking and surprising results... that go in our favour of course."
