CEG Implas were honoured today as the royal family decided to visit the club as part of the newly born Prince George's first public day out. Manager Dyson gave HRH's William and Kate and their new addition a behind the scenes look at the club and how it runs day to day .

Whilst the new born prince was the focal point of all the attention, photographers and members of the press all quickly realised that it was Prince William who got the most out of the trip. Not many people realised that the Prince is a huge fan of the Impalas and often attends games, wearing a disguise of glasses and a novelty moustache to avoid being recognised as he enjoys the rising stars as often as his duties allow him.

Whist Kate and baby George were taken to the club's conference room for a light lunch washed down with ice cool umbongo Wills, as he likes to be known at the club, took part in a five a side game with the club's players.The press spokesmen for the Royals had these words to say about the visit:

"The Royal couple had a fantastic time and are huge fans of what manager Dyson is trying to do at the club. They like his patience and know he will turn the promising youngsters into a team who may one day play at division 3 level, and always maintian the exciting football they are famous for."

For the players it was a welcome break from the intense training and preparations for the next league game against Blairy's superstars, and the forthcoming cup game in which they have a huge chance to progress. The Royal visit was a huge sucess and the club presented the family with a baby-size club shirt for young Prince George, with HRH and the number 13 on the back to commemorate his birth. With the royal stamp of approval, fans are sure to back manager Dyson's regime now .
