Three historical points
Fortuna Killepitsch is a club of ancient lineage. They were formed already in 2005, before the birth of most of the managers in today's world of tactics, and participated in the very first season of Golden League, then as Andyborough Utd. Yes, the club derive from England, most probably from the capital itself, hence the first name change in 2007, where the club became Kurdish Arsenal.

As for now, eveyone connects the club to their current location in west Germany. It was after that major move the taste of success was served to the supporters who decided to stick with the club. Many left, feeling it wasn't their club anymore, but the fact is that the club is still pretty much the same. It's the same players, the same philsophy regarding management and the feeling of a second family remains. Bromis, the mind behind the few changes made, chose to continue what Mamboetoe had started, rather than change too much, feeling the club would benefit to remain the same to some extent.

The first title was claimed last season as Fortuna went all the way in the cup campaign, which meant that this season would be their very first in the Xpert Champions League.

As debutants, Fortuna lost their first game of the group stage. Wasted Years, another debutant, was one step ahead at home and won easily. It was expected however, and the Fortuna side immediately recharged for another tough week in Golden League.

The XCL loss was quickly forgotten and Fortuna sailed through to the next round of the cup and beat Porto Knights on Sunday, giving the players a good dose of confidence before the upcoming XCL game vs. Romanian side, F.C. Steaua Oradea. Here Fortuna felt the chance of getting three points. The first three points ever at this high level.

With the result in hand, the feeling before the game was right, it was a good opportunity and it was an opportunity which was resolutely taken. Yesterday, Fortuna Killepitsch wrote a piece of history.
