Long term goal ACHIEVED!

YESSIR!!! Yes INDEED!!! Today has seen the Cloggies rise to the first place in the all time standings for the Classic League. A momentous occasion that I never though we would be able to achieve this season. Having to compete on three fronts meant that we had our goal firmly set on avoiding relegation and never had any hopes of getting the 27 points we needed to go top on goal difference. Our once again nearly perfect home record kept us in the race though, and today in the final round of the season we finally overtook Hawkesy CBR and took our place on the Classic League Throne. A huge honor for us, especially since we managed to take the top spot without playing more games to get there than our fierce rivals. With the Mighty Cats still hot on our tail we can not lean back and enjoy our status though. Next season another tough fight against relegation awaits us as the team getting promoted to the top level are very strong indeed, as are the teams that stay with us. In the mean time we expoect to be wekaer next season than we were in this one. It certainly will be tough. O yeah. Nearly forgot. In order to get our coveted top spot we also had to claim the title again. Another season of XCL awaits: yay.......
