Molde manager quits moonlighting...
Molde maintain a modest mid-table position in Division 1b and yet it could be said they seem to be lacking in just that final killer instinct necessary to take the division by the scruff and progress to the very top. Sources within the club have oft repeated hushed rumours of the board not being fully content with BFM's moonlighting as a sometime reporter for local rag "The Xpert Daily".

As news began to leak of BFM's name having been removed from the list of XD Staff, the press were quick to clamour at Aker Stadion to try and prise the inside scoop. As chance would have it, a lugubrious looking manager emerged from Aker Stadion having seemingly failed to successfully circumvent the baying press on leaving for the day.

XD: Is it true the board forced you to quit the Daily BFM?
B: No, not at all. The board were always fully supportive of my position and desire to see the Xpert Daily promoted and valued within the game.

XD: How come you parted ways then BFM?
B: Well, I think only the minority of readers take pause to consider the time and effort the reporters put into their pieces. Molde FK and real life take up a lot of my time as you can imagine, and things got to a point where the 2-3hrs necessary to adequately research and put together an article was becoming harder and harder to find. I have a 14yr old daughter who demands a lot of my time as well and it was a case of prioritising and recognising who I had to let down. The reporters all do a fantastic job, I was honoured to be part of the team but my time sojourning for "The Daily", had come.

XD: Did you leave on good terms then BFM?
B: I think so. I felt proper decorum insisted I speak to the 'CoS' Celticlegend first, rather than post it in the reporters forum. I enjoyed a good relationship with Celticlegend - he puts an awful lot of time and effort into the XD and deserves more recognition for it than he gets. Unfortunately, I did not thereafter get a chance to say goodbye to the other reporters in the private forum due to the speed at which the crew updated the staffing list - so, if you're reading this guys - thanks for the goodtimes, it was an honour and a pleasure.

XD: Anything else to say BFM?
B: Yes, I'd just like to remind readers that they get from the Daily what they put in. All the reporters are keen to publish the great stories written by the managers, If you see a good one, tip it by clicking the button on the release to recommend it - or try writing an article yourself.

XD: This leaves you more time to focus on Molde then BFM?
B: Yes, it does.Though its only right and proper to mark that time I spent in the Daily I suppose, by talking to the Daily about it. I have Aryan666 up next in the 7th round of the cup, which is sure to produce a game for the fans. Unfortunately things are at the stage where getting the kids some game-time is harder as the competition improves.

XD: Well, I guess we'll be seeing some improved results in the league & Cup then BFM....??
B: (laughs) Lets hope so Jeff.....

We at Xpert Daily, hope that at least some will miss the witterings & ramblings of the erstwhile reporter...
