Trumpton manager Bubba Brain has gone mental and lashed out nearly Ten million wotsits on a single player, and that player is only 16 years old!
Known for being a tight old so and so, and refusing to pay the over inflated prices for players, this move has shocked the Trumpton faithful. Over to Mr Brain for an explanation:
"Well, you see the youth development program has finally produced a quality player in a rock hard 5 skill 17 year old who can run all day long. Unfortunately because of a small clerical error by someone at the club, ok it was me, this said young star is a defender and we are in need of a midfielder.
"So the remedy is to flog him off and hope I recover something near the amount just spent. There's an offer of eight and a half million at the minute so it's looking promising. In other news we are through in the cup and drew one lost one in the league. We won't be going up but we might not be going down - or then again we might."
