.FC Totti United Ronaldo youth product Nick Frant, 18, was heading to training like it was just a normal day when he heard from the Totti coaching staff that Super League (7 times), Super League Cup (4 times), and Xpert Champions League winners (3 times) Whitsunday FC were interested in signing him. Nick Frant grew up in the city of Totti and joined FC Totti United Ronaldo's youth program as a 6-year-old. At the age of 17, he was promoted to the senior team, and was currently in the process of playing his second season with Totti's first squad. The bid for the 18-year-old forward from one of the best teams in the world came completely out of the blue, and the Totti staff, all the Totti fans, and Dream League experts were all taken by surprise.
"We knew that Nick Frant is a big talent, but that we'd be getting bids from one of the best teams in the world is a little surprsing, but also extremely humbling and a great testimony to how great our youth program is at developing young players," said FC Totti United Ronaldo manager BarryHero at the press conference where the news about Frant was revealed. "This is good news for everyone involved. Nick's of course ecstatic to be joining such a well-known club, and this is also great PR for us as a club, and, of course, Whitsunday FC are getting a great player and personality," BarryHero continued. "We cannot wait to see what the future holds for Nick Frant in the Super League. I am feeling very confident that Whitsunday will be more than pleased with Frant's work ethics and talent," BarryHero concluded.
Nick Frant, who also was present at the press conference, said that "Whitsunday FC are the type of club that every young kid all over the world dreams about representing. It'll be extremely inspirational to be playing alongside players like Marc Hellhoff and Dacio Cortez. These are players I grew up watching on TV and I cannot wait to be their team-mates. It is an unreal yet amazing feeling, for sure. " Frant said.
Nick Frant will be joining Whitsunday for a non-disclosed fee and is expected to get limited playing time helping Whitsunday to compete for their third straight Super League title. The 18-year-old Tottian leaves FC Totti United Ronaldo after 16 games, 0 goals, 1 assist, and one Dream League Division 6 title.
The Totti News send their best wishes to Nick Frant and thank him for his service at Totti.
