Dancing in the streets!
Gwernfadog United fans were dancing in the streets last night after surviving relegation by beating Streets of Love 1-0 at home!
"We knew this was going to be a tough game and their defence is so difficult to break down. We had to win the game and who steps up to provide the winning goal?...Only Mancini who has just returned from injury and had the worst season of his career, as this was his first goal of the season! What a perfect time to score to keep us in the league!!!
It's probably our greatest escape from relegation of all time. We were four points behind safety at one point and literally had to win our remaining four games to do it! Remarkable!

I'm confident after two successive relegation battles that we won't be in the same situation next season. We took a gamble investing in youth players and hopefully with a good change report on Friday we'll see major improvements. It's our only hope as the club just doesn't have the funds to buy players in their peak anymore."

The win see's United finish fourth with Woodley winning the league, Swans going into the playoffs and Estacao getting relegated, despite being in a playoff spot a few games ago themselves.
