Good Away Win @ FC St Pauli
On Friday lunch, we traveled to the 'Millerntor-Stadion' to play 'FC St. Pauli'. Having just lost their manager, we were confident of victory and chose to go with an attacking 3-5-2 formation with a normal playing style. A win would help us keep in touch with the playoff places and perhaps promotion to Division 4.

We were on top almost from the off, but it took a while for the chances to come. Carmindo Dias went close in the 16th minute with a shot that skimmed the crossbar before Gerd Tiemann scored from inside the penalty area with an assist going to Carmindo Dias for his pinpoint pass on 17 minutes. Unfortunately, we couldn't generate another opportunity in front of goal despite maintaining a grip on possession and so at the half, we still led by the one goal.

The team had another slow start to the second period before gaining taking control of the game. In the 55th minute, we made our first change with André Hahne making way for Siegfried Buck in midfield. Carmindo Dias gave us that vital second goal when he converted Siegfried Buck's corner with a shot on 59 minutes. Andry Ehrlich toe kick on goal put the result beyond doubt from Carmindo Dias's corner in the 68th minute. We made a second change on 75 minutes when Günther Schirmer was injured and he was replaced by Toni Udarevic. With a minute to go, the team made its final change with Dietmar Bausch coming off & Claus-Dieter Holzwarth going on in his place.

After three minutes of injury time, we had our victory which keeps us in third place. Now by goal for (GF) only, which hopefully we can convert to second after next week's round of games.
