The half-time dressing room call and response between manager Tony Brazil and his Matchstick Men players is going well. Playing away to the league leaders Fizzy Cola Bottles, Matchstick Men are holding them to a 1-1 draw. "Who's going to play the second half like coke-fuelled drug-fiends?" "Matchstick Men!" The opening of the second half has already gone down in legend; first Fc Vilanovense has a goal disallowed for Matchsticks then a minute later they are awarded a penalty. The spot kick is scored then a few minutes later a star-defender for Fizzy is carried off injured. Events calm down after that but Fizzy never recover, and go further behind late in the day as Matchstick Men win 3-1. Brazil comments, "our league positions don't change but that was a lot of fun."
