AUFSTIEG IN DIE PRO LEAGUE!

Zum ersten Mal in der langen und bewegten Geschichte von Greenpeace FC - und auch von Coach Erfordijan - gelingt der Aufstieg in die Beletage des Fußballs, in die Pro League! In einer grandiosen Saison führte der Aufsteiger lange die Division 1a an. Erst am letzten Spieltag zog der Dauerkonkurrent Looking 4 the KLF doch noch vorbei - Greenpeace hatte beim Tabellendritten Huff Town nur ein 2:2-Unentschieden geschafft! So ging es dann in die Relegation um den Aufstieg in die 1. Liga - und hier wartete kein geringerer als der Rekordmeister S.L. SabugAll. Hier behielten die Grünen die Nerven und spielten den Gegner regelrecht an die Wand. Am Ende erlöste Goalgetter Desmond Hart eine Viertelstunde vor Schluss den GFC, das 1:0 reichte am Ende für den Sieg. Auch im Pokal musste man am Ende (dem späteren Sieger) Looking 4 the KLF den Vortritt lassen. Hier war erst im Halbfinale mit einer äußerst unglücklichen 1:2-Niederlage Schluss. Steve McManaman verschoss in der 92. Minute den möglichen Ausgleich... Doch die Tränen sind längst getrocknet und jetzt ist erstmal bis zum Saisonstart Party hard angesagt! Denn Greenpeace FC spielt ab jetzt in der 1. Liga!!!
