Amazing Change Report
Knights of Cydonia FC's season petered out with a draw against Drangliec, the same opponents who beat us on the opening day. Aside from the beginning and the end though its been a fantastic season all around and we weren't bothered by the last game defeat as our number 1 priority was to get the average form of our team up to 16 as quickly as possible in order to ensure the best possible chance of competing for promotion to the Ultimate League as we're getting to the age now where this team needs to deliver results.

Relegation may have been a blessing in disguise though, as being able to keep the form high all season and go deep into the cup meant that we have had an amazing change report where 9 players increased in skill with a single jump and we even had one double jump, Christoph Schlemmer who has been transfer listed

We managed to nab an absolute bargain in the transfer market, paying just 1 million econ for Valentin Bagritsky, a 17/5 midfielder. Frankly this is amazing. He just so happened to be undervalued and we were able to nab a 3 million econ valued player at just one million econ.

This of course meant it was finally time to say goodbye to Bagdasar Nazarian who was retiring anyway. The hard training midfielder was brought in to considerably boost the midfield strength and help us climb the divisions after we got into Division 3, giving us more midfield strength in order to compete. However the past two seasons he's been something of a spent force and our reliance on him in midfield did not help our chances of staying up.

So Gifford replaced him this season and has been considerably better. With Motta and Mora now both 30 Nazarian's role in the team has been completely nullified and was better spent with a young midfielder instead, so Bagritsky takes his place as the team's number 6.

The new division has been drawn and unsurprisingly a number of names from two seasons ago are our opponents again, namely Rockerbocker, Mudchute Packers, House of Stark and My-Tee Athletic. The difficulty of this division is up for debate as of yet as some teams face a crossroads on what they want to do next, but I don't think this division is as hard as the one we faced two seasons ago and I think if we can get into form, promotion either automatically and via the play-offs is achieveable.

Much will depend on the actions of Rockerbocker I feel. If they keep their team together we're probably looking at getting into the play-offs as we never do well against them. If they decide to rebuild, this could be a big opportunity for us.

Three of the teams we have to play against this season are going to be new to us however. Sniper-ul de la Ciocana are Chrille's old side now under Romanian management and to be honest, they are so old now that we should be able to beat them, they look like relegation candidates imo,.. that's the only team I think we should be able to easily beat. Swann and Helmet don't have the strongest of sides but they have shown themselves to be capable against teams better than them so they won't be pushovers.

Finally we have Amsterdam Brutez, our first match against this legendary club and they won this division three seasons ago. The good news is that their team is getting quite old and one of their best players, Peter Carnesten, is declining in skill and is set to retire.

Of course, depending on the events of this week, this division could go anywhere. At the very least we don't expect House of Stark to be relegation candidates this time around and we think they will be looking to push at the other end of the table. But we have a team now that's considerably better than it was two seasons ago and we have to take advantage of that and push for promotion to the top flight.

Keeping the team form high is going to be the key to that as we saw from last season, if you have the skill and form advantage the odds are in your favour and you have more room for error when it comes to the tactics.
