Routine Win for Young Bohs |
Bohemian Villains bounced back from their defeat to Azure Athletic by living up to their favorites tag in what was a routine 0-2 win away to Captain Tsubasa FC. Bohs boss Barios spoke to the press afterwards.
"It was job done, nothing more. We'd few young guys in we wanted to give game time so I think that may have stunted us a bit creativity wise but we got the job done and the three points. We've a very, very tough game now versus our Dublin rivals, form goes out the window for these derby games and it also has the extra element of both of us looking at a playoff spot. We are chasing though so while it's a must win for both, it's a must must win for us."
Barios also confirmed the depature of Vitale Del Neri, who has agreed to leave the club a few weeks early to make room for the promotion of youth team player Collins Croagh. "Vitale was a great servant for us right up to the end, he was our number one keeper, but at 35 he was planning on retiring at the end of the season, and with our books full, he graciously stepped aside so we could get Collins in. He's a talented lad with a big future. Hopefully we can get some game time for him now in the run in, which is why we decided to bring him in early in the first place."
