No goals, no wins
The Fifth Column has not been able to score a single goal in last three games. Not to cool for the fans but it is all just fine!
"We played a very tough game away at CF Arcus which we lost 1-0. And in the Cup our third round opponent The Matrix got a new manager which went unnoticed. So there 0-0 with all our youngsters playing was a good result. Just like our result this week, another 0-0 at Dortmund."
The Fifth Column in fact played four of the five games in the division so far away from home and as such the eight points on the throttle so far are excellent.
What is not excellent is the immense expenditure of the club. The 20 man squad is draining the econs thick and fast for extra salaries and top notch training for all.
"We kind of forgot the numbers financially with this bigger squad size and our CFO Jenny Everdean currently is not at the club because of some allegedly misplaced jewellery found at her home. So it is all a bit of a mess in the books.
"Anyhow... The Fifth Column just has to come by. And more importantly exit the Cup. But not against The Matrix preferably, who will be played again in Hell's Kitchen this time on Sunday.
"For development purposes reaching round four would be great. And sufficient. All players should reach decent numbers that way."
