Ahead of the upcoming season, the unrelenting optimism expressed by fans of The Frozen Igloos was suddenly stripped bare as news came in of Eurico Texeira's announcement that he would be retiring come the end of the season. Being still relatively young, fans of The Igloos might have been forgiven for thinking that he still had motivation left to help the team achieve their goals as well as set meaningful goals for himself. For example: the goal of becoming The Igloos greatest goal-scorer of all time, being only 27 goals shy of that particular achievement.  "To be honest, my greatest motivation to be successful in the sport was always driven by financial incentives. Thankfully I managed to make a lot of money as a result of my efforts up until this point. However, I've realised recently that the best way for me to make money efficiently is to invest more money into Bitcoin and other financial endeavours. So basically, there's no real point in me carrying on playing football beyond next season", commented Eurico to a dumbfounded press gathering.
